Why Do You Think Parents Don't Complete RSK?

I know drop out is a problem for all parenting programs, and the current economic situation complicates things, but I would like to ask if you know why 5 people didn't complete the series. How many classes have most parents attended? When do they drop out?

My best regards.

  1. I know the one problem we face is we do the program in transient housing. So a lot of times they leave after a few weeks into permanent housing. We have tried doing more than one session in a week to try and help this. But this population desperately needs this type of workshop.

  2. Interventions at transient housing are always a challenge. They need to be short and our ACT parenting program is not.

Are there others in the ACT network who have offered the program in such settings? What were the outcomes? How did you overcome the attendance and retention issues?
